Glasgow’s Golden Generation has been supporting older adults since 1948 and is fundraising to support older adults through the winter months.
Fuel poverty is more likely to affect older adults than any other age group, and the impact is wide reaching. It doesn’t just mean it costs them a lot to heat their home, it means older adults have less money available to eat nutritiously, get out to see friends and family and can negatively affect their health.
That’s where GGG can help – our three day centres are open every weekday and offer a warm, welcoming environment to older adults as well as a nutritious three course lunch.
